Sirens
Sirens are stand-alone sounders which require 12VDC to operate. Sirens have 1, 2 or more "channels" which generate different sounds to warn of Burglary, Fire or other emergency situations. Some sirens are "recordable", meaning you can make up your own message or sound using a microphone or PC. See individual product descriptions for details.
The ELK-45 is a loud self-contained electronic siren in a compact and attractive housing. This siren draws less current than many competitive units and features the ability to produce two distinct sounds from a single input trigger. The ComboTrigger™ option allows controls which have a single alarm output and pulsing option to activate both the burglar and fire alarm sounds.
The ELK-71 is a Two-Tone (Yelp & Steady) Siren mounted in an attractive surface mount plastic enclosure. This versatile Echo™ Series siren is designed to be heard but not seen!. Sound "echoes" off mounting surface from back plate edge.

Speakers and horns require either a built-in siren driver that is part of the burglar alarm control panel or an add-on siren driver (see below). We offer speakers in indoor and outdoor (weatherproof) options, with or without an enclosure. Some enclosures can also have a strobe light mounted directly to them to attract attention and help police locate the house at night. Speakers may be surface or flush mounted. Some models even fit inside a single-gang electrical box like a light switch.
The ELK-1RT is a rugged 30 Watt, 8 Ohm speaker mounted in a tamper resistant, "No Rust" enclosure. It features two sealed reed tamper switches, one on the Back plate and one on the Front Cover. The stainless steel naturally reflects the mounting surface and blends easily with any residential or commercial building. Also available is the ELK-150RT with Built-in Siren or the ELK-SL1 Strobe Light that can be added to the enclosure.
The ELK-44 is a universal 30 Watt - 8 Ohm Speaker which may be
connected to any siren driver or amplifier. It features a heavy
duty voice coil and magnet, allowing it to withstand up to 50
Watts of peak power.
The ELK-73 is a 20 Watt, 8 Ohm Speaker mounted in an attractive
surface mount plastic enclosure. This versatile Echo™ Series

Siren Drivers convert 12VDC current from your alarm control panel into modulated audio (sound) to play siren and other sounds through alarm speakers.
If your alarm control panel does not include a built-in siren driver, you may use either a stand-alone siren (see above) or a siren driver and one or more
alarm speakers. Note that when using more than one sounder it is usually advisable to use a siren driver and speakers rather than two or more separate
sirens. The sound will be clearer and the driver will draw less current than separate sirens.
The ELK-124 v.2 is a new and enhanced 8 channel recordable
voice module. It’s ideal for applications such as telephone
on-hold announcements, security and access control warnings,
museum narrations, and more.
The ELK-129 Computer Sound Card Interface allows a computer's
speaker output to be used as one of the tools for programming
sounds into the ELK Recordable Modules, such as the ELK-120,
ELK-124, or ELK-MV480. Includes software to download your
computer's audio files (WAVs) to the Recordable Modules.
Strobes can help police and fire fighters locate your home at night. They help to scare off an intruder and can warn you of an active alarm before you enter after the siren has shut off. Some models attach to the wall or soffit while others mount to a siren enclosure for a more finished, professional appearance.
The ELK-WK1 is a an optional wall mount kit for use with the ELK-SL1
Strobe Light. The kit features a decorative snap-on trim cover with
all hardware for mounting the strobe to any flat surface or directly
to a single or double gang electrical box.
