This is an annunciator plate with a piezo-type Mallory Sonalert audible signal device and volume control. The volume control can also be used to turn the Sonalert off. Push button functions on the faceplate include: manual on, reset, and exit delay (see below for description of each). Matches any decor.

MANUAL ON: This function allows the customer to turn on his/her floodlights when going out at night with a simple push-button switch on the annunciator plate mounted on the wall. No more walking in darkness to get into the car! The lights will be turned off by the control unit after an adjustable amount of time.
RESET: This function allows the customer to manually turn off the floodlights upon entering the home before they time out. This conserves energy and saves the customer utility money.
EXIT DELAY: This function allows the customer to keep the unit from tripping for an adjustable amount of time. With a simple push of the button on the annunciator plate, a person can turn off the sensor probe and drive by it without tripping the system. For example, if one were to leave the house later at night, he/she can use this function to turn the probe off and not awaken the sleeping family in the home when he/she drives by the probe.
Introduced in 1976 by Preferred Technologies Group, Cartell was the first driveway system of its kind. Based on magnetometer technology, Cartell senses only moving steel. It cannot be tripped by people, animals or objects. Wind and weather do not affect it.
This control unit with dual timed output includes floodlight control with full features. Field adjustments include: entry delay, floodlight time, exit delay, photocell sensitivity, re-trigger hold-off, annunciator time, probe sensitivity, and transient suppressor.
This control unit is identical to the CT-2B except that the circuit board is conformal coated and thereby resistant to moisture. It can be installed in unheated, weatherproof applications such as barns, garages, and gate operators. The "G" was added to its name because it is a favorite product among the gate industry as a free-exit system for use with automatic gates.
