At the center of the DigitaLife System is the 300GB DigitaLife Server. This network and media server is designed to fit inside the structured wiring cabinet -- a truly built-in solution. The DigitaLife System is a dedicated server-based entertainment network that delivers the ultimate in performance, convenience, reliability and availability.

The DigitaLife Player is installed with any audio/video component where music or video will be played or photos will be viewed. It connects to the DigitaLife Server over the home network and accesses the stored digital content and delivers a stream of audio, video or photo entertainment.

DIGITALIFE SERVER - THE CENTER OF THE DIGITALIFE SYSTEM

At the center of the DigitaLife System is the DigitaLife Server, a network and media server that is designed to fit inside the wiring cabinet.

Combining the functions of a digital photo archive, digital music jukebox and digital video server, the DigitaLife Server makes it easy to organize, access, control and enjoy digital photos, music and video from any room that is equipped with a DigitaLife Player.

The DigitaLife Server functions as a multi-port switch to conveniently network PCs and other equipment throughout the home. It operates as an internet-sharing residential gateway with built-in fi rewall protection. With its built-in hard drive, the DigitaLife Server also serves as a network-attached storage (NAS) device.

DIGITALIFE PLAYER - BRIDGING TO THE TV AND STEREO

The DigitaLife Player is installed with any audio/video component where music or video will be played or photos and multimedia slideshows will be displayed. It connects to the DigitaLife Server over the home network, accesses the stored digital content and delivers a stream of audio, video or photo entertainment to televisions, stereos or entertainment centers.

Multiple outlets in the DigitaLife Player allow connections to a wide variety of components for audio and video output.

The DigitaLife Television Menu makes it easy to play music or video and view photos.
