Introduced in 1976 by Preferred Technologies Group, Cartell was the first driveway system of its kind. Based on magnetometer technology, Cartell senses only moving steel. It cannot be tripped by people, animals or objects. Wind and weather do not affect it.
This control unit is identical to the CT-2B except that the circuit board is conformal coated and thereby resistant to moisture. It can be installed in unheated, weatherproof applications such as barns, garages, and gate operators. The "G" was added to its name because it is a favorite product among the gate industry as a free-exit system for use with automatic gates.

The New DA-503 Drive-Alert Driveway Alarm system provides the same dependable method of vehicle detection as the DA-500. However, the DA-503 incorporates built-in X-10 transmitters that use a home's existing electrical wiring to transmit a signal which sounds chimes when a vehicle enters a driveway, or wherever a sensor has been buried. The once difficult and expensive task of hard wiring security sound into rooms and remote areas no longer exists.
The DA-503 can be ordered as a complete unit which includes a control panel, 1 DA-058 Remote Chime, and 1 sensor with 100 feet of cable. Any number of chimes may be used and longer lengths of cable are available. See our accessories section for details.

Sure Action's Directional Probe is unique because it can tell the direction in which a vehicle is traveling and then can be used to initiate different actions based on the directional information. For example, a car coming up a driveway toward a home may turn on the outside lights and sound a chime in the house, but not perform either function when the car leaves.
P8000C Complete Directional Probe System - Sure Action
Sure Action's Directional Probe provides an installer with flexibility. By installing this probe, an installer can have lights turn on and a chime sound when a car enters a driveway, but only have the lights turn on as the car leaves the home. Or a gate may be triggered to open. The directional probe can also be used on long driveways to trigger lights so that only sections of the driveway are lit as a car enters and leaves.
Processor for the Directional Probe System. Handles up to (1) P8000 Directional Probe or (2) P5050 Standard Probes. Also has a circuit for an optional lightning check probe. Operating voltage is 12 VDC.
