The EX72 is compact zoom camera in a CSA / UL rated housing that provides an effective explosion protected surveillance solution for hazardous environments.
The use of explosion protected cameras and illuminators provide complete surveillance solutions without the need to install expensive high voltage lighting in hazardous environments. Chemical factories, oil and gas facilities and numerous other industrial locations are often exposed to dangerous risk of fire or explosions. The CSA / UL design of the EX72 was engineered for total explosion protection, even when installed very close to operating equipment.
Meters, fluid levels, and high-speed mechanical processes in environments that could be dangerous to human health can be monitored safely and effectively. The extended design of the EX72 accommodates Extreme’s FMZ300 Compact Zoom Module for increased optical versatility and performance. The FMZ300 features EXView HAD performance and a total zoom of 230x. The zoom module also incorporates an IR cut filter for true color performance and near-infrared sensitivity, making the EX72 a perfect complement to Extreme’s explosion protected IR illuminators.
