The Vizia-RF 4-Zone Controller with IR-Remote Capability is part of Leviton's Vizia-RF Wireless Home Control System. These devices combine the popular Vizia family of lighting devices with the award-winning Z-wave® RF-based home control technology to deliver the first line of truly dependable, scalable and practical wireless home control devices that will set the standard for residential control system performance for decades to come.

The Vizia-RF Wireless Home Control System provides scalable, easy-to-install, retrofit ready, remote control of appliances and lighting as well as one-button zone lighting control that lets you instantly create the perfect ambiance for any occasion. And, best of all, Vizia-RF does all of this without any of the interference and less-than-consistent performance of previous home control systems.

Application

The Vizia-RF 4-Zone Controller with IR-Remote Capability is ideal for remote control of up to four different zones (areas) of Vizia-RF scene-capable devices.* Controller fits in a standard wallbox and utilizes existing 120VAC 60Hz wiring to replace a regular switch (when neutral wire is present) for easy "no-new-wires" installation. The Controller uses Z-Wave RF protocol transmissions to control other Leviton Vizia-RF ZWave enabled devices as well as Z-Wave compliant devices from other manufacturers. These devices include, but are not limited to, in-wall dimmers and switches as well as plugin dimmer and appliance modules. The top four buttons on the Controller provide ON/OFF switching of four zones/areas.

The bottom button transmits DIM/BRIGHT commands to the most recently switched-ON zone. An optional IR Handheld Remote Controller (Cat. No. RZMR1) can be used to activate the Vizia-RF 4-Zone Controller's ON/OFF/DIM BRIGHT commands.

*A zone is one controlled load(s): An area is multiple zones. For example, a series of porch lights controlled by a single Leviton Vizia RF device is a zone. An area could be the porch and/or any additional zones, such as landscape lights.
