THE ON-Q/LEGRAND LIGHTING CONTROLLER is the heart of the On-Q Lighting System. The modular system design allows users to pay for only those features that are really needed. Its flexible interface and control features enable it to function as a stand-alone lighting system controller for convenience and security lighting applications. Alternatively, the Home Lighting Controller can interface to personal computers and automation system controllers to provide fully-automated whole-house lighting control functions. The Home Lighting Controller provides simple "press & hold" scene switch programming operation so homeowners can program lighting scenes without the need for programming software or manuals. The Home Lighting Controller and expansion modules mount to any On-Q enclosure or network center mounting bracket.

THE ON-Q/LEGRAND LIGHTING MANAGER Module connects to the Home Lighting Controller’s (364644-01) expansion bus to provide complete automation of system lighting and I/O control features. The Lighting Manager Module supports time/day/date and sunrise/sunset program control as well as program control based on input triggers from sensors. The integral serial port provides all of the interfacing support features of the Serial Expansion Module (364698-01)and may be used with the On-Q/Legrand Lighting SceneTech software(364630-01) for system testing and diagnostics as well as programming and editing of lighting scene and automation programs.

364678-01 On-Q Lighting Input/Output Module

THE ON-Q/LEGRAND LIGHTING Input/Output Module connects to the Home Lighting Controller’s (364644-01) or Lighting Expansion Module’s (364726-01)control ports to provide programmable I/O control. The I/O Module incorporates two scene programmable inputs and 2 scene controllable outputs. The I/O Module supports simple programming and interfacing to security panels, door sensors, motion sensors, garage door openers, gate controls, irrigation controls and home theater controls. The I/O Module’s inputs and 2 Ampere rated relay outputs can be field configured for dry contact or 5-24 V AC/DC operation. The Home Lighting Controller supports a maximum of 124 I/O Modules. Each I/O Module receives an ALC address and communicates on the ALC communication bus.

THE ON-Q/LEGRAND LIGHTING Expansion Module connects to the Home Lighting Controller’s (364644-01) expansion bus to provide 3 additional control ports for connection and control of up to an additional 93 ALC Dimmers, Relay Switches, Scene Switches and I/O Modules (31 per Control Port branch, 124 per system). Each control port also provides 12 VDC to power I/O modules and ALC Branch Wiring Hubs.

364645-01 On-Q Lighting Distribution Module

THIS MODULE CONNECTS TO the Home Lighting Controller’s (364644-01) or Lighting Expansion Module’s (364726-01) control ports to provide an organized, structured wiring interface for connection of up to 7 ALC Dimmers, Relay Switches and/or Scene Switches. Six of the connection points also provide connections for Auxiliary slave switches for local multi-way dimming and on/off control of ALC Dimmer and Relay control switches. Each Wiring Distribution Module provides connections for up to 4 ALC Branch Wiring Hubs or I/O Modules. Additionally, each module provides connection points for connecting an RF Remote Control Receiver to the Home Lighting Controller.

THE ON-Q/LEGRAND LIGHTING Serial Expansion Module connects to the Home Lighting Controller’s (364644-01) expansion bus to enable security and automation system controllers to control the Home Lighting Systems lighting and I/O control features. The Serial Expansion Module supports two serial communication protocols; ASCII-Link and ALC-Link. When used with the On-Q/Legrand Lighting SceneTech software(364630-01), technicians can perform system testing and diagnostics as well as program and edit scene lighting programs.

THE ALC BRANCH HUB BOOSTS and conditions ALC communication signal strength for up to 31 ALC switches. The Branch Hub provides connection points for up to 9 ALC Relay, Dimmer or Scene Switches. Connection points are included for connection of ALC Auxiliary Switches for multi-way on/off and dimming control of connected Relay and Dimmer Switches. The Hub extends ALC communication cabling distances up to an additional 1000 feet (1,500 feet total). A single CAT 5E cable provides communication and 12 VDC power from the controller.

THE ALC ENHANCED BRANCH HUB boosts and conditions the ALC communication signal strength for up to 31 ALC switches. The Enhanced Branch Hub provides connection points for up to 9 ALC Relay, Dimmer or Scene Switches. Connection points are included for connection of ALC Auxiliary Switches for multi-way on/off and dimming control of connected Relay and Dimmer Switches. The hub extends ALC communication cabling distances up to an additional 1000 feet (1,500 feet total). A single CAT 5E cable provides communication and 12 VDC power from the controller. The Enhanced Hub incorporates DIP switches to enable ALC Relay, Dimmer, Scene and Program Switches to be quickly and easily isolated from the communication branch. Each Enhanced Hub is provided with an On-Q/Legrand Hide-A-Port outlet(364311-01) to provide a professional quality finished installation with easy accessibility.
