The KX-TAW848, designed specifically for upscale residential homes, SOHO applications, and larger small business environments, offers a modular design that allows you to tailor the system to meet your specific needs. The KX-TAW848 is unique in that it is not only a traditionally wired PBX system. It also has the option of adding a robust Mulit-Cell Wireless System to provide seamless coverage within large areas. By adding expansion cards, the KX-TAW848 has the capability to service up to 8 CO lines and 48 phones - 24 cordless or wireless extensions and 24 wired. This system works with single line telephones and up to 4 door intercom/openers.

These phones work with Panasonic KX-TAW848, KX-TDA30, KX-TDA50, KX-TDA100 and KX-TDA200 phone systems. They are not stand-alone telephones.
Panasonic's new KX-TDA and KX-TAW phone systems provide a new level of convenience and coverage with wireless phones, through the use of strategically placed multiple cell stations (antennas).
As you move throughout the coverage area, the system provides seamless communication by automatically handing off the call from cell station to cell station.
Multi-cell wireless technology is a highly efficient solution that keeps people connected whether they are on the factory floor, in the warehouse, in a showroom, office, shopping mall, retail store, auto dealership, large home or just about anywhere.

KX-TD7690 2.4 Gigahertz Wireless Handset - Panasonic
This is a 2.4GHz wireless handset designed for use with KX-TDA50, 100, 200 and KX-TAW848 phone systems. It will not work without the transmitting base, which is sold separately, or with other phone systems.
This premium “executive” model is a sleek and extremely lightweight unit styled like a cellphone, that can easily fit into a shirt pocket. It includes a 5-line backlit LCD display, a navigation key for line selection and feature access and is equipped with a convenient 2.5mm headset jack, speakerphone and hands-free intercom. A compact charging cradle is included, and it can be used on a table, desk or wall. The cradle requires electrical power, but no phone jack.

If you want to have more than four phone lines, you'll need to install an additional KX-TA62480 module, in one of the 4-port spaces. 28 of the phones could be wireless (of which up to eight could be in use at one time, through four cell stations. If you want to have more than four wired phones, you can use the KX-TAW84875 4-port module for multi-line phones, the KX-TAW84876 8-port module for multi-line phones, and the KX-TAW848 8-port module for single-line phones. Intercom numbers start with 101. You can assign numbers up to 600.
