EX36N Seclusion Cell Corner-Mount Camera (IDN)

The EX36 is a vandal-resistant corner Integrated Day-Night™ (IDN™) camera featuring anchor-free No-Grip™ design. The US Patented EX36 has no anchor points for maximum safety in environments with at-risk individuals. The innovative design allows a perfectly flush fit into the corner of a room that protects against even the most brutal attempt to destroy, detach or disable the camera. The sharp 45º angle hides all wiring and delivers complete coverage of the entirety of a 15x15ft room, including below the camera itself. Double 1/4” LEXAN plates ensure optical clarity and are virtually unbreakable.

Eighty-four (84) infrared-emitting LED’s achieve up to 30ft Night Vision, providing invisible illumination at 850nm or 940nm. Photocell-controlled infrared reduces energy consumption and ensures excellent night vision images under low-light conditions. Both LEDs and photocell are adjustable for optimal performance.

The EX36 uses Extreme’s LXR CCD technology for outstanding spectral response in the near infrared. As with all LXR-type sensors, the video signal is characterized by low-smear, low-streak and excellent anti-blooming characteristics for excellent active-IR night vision. MX models feature Mechanical Filter technology for outstanding color reproduction and superb Active-IR Night Vision with no focus shift.

Dual-VRB design (12 VDC or 24 VAC) minimizes voltage noise and electrical spikes, ensuring long life and minimal maintenance. The EX36 is the ideal 24/7 surveillance solution for small rooms such as prison cells, interrogation rooms, hospital and psychiatric rooms, isolation cells, sleep labs and elevator cabs.
