Sound Activated Alarming Base Stations

Sound Activated Base Stations provide threshold level control for sound activation, and relay contacts for activating other annunciations, such as, cameras, lights, etc. Alarming Base Stations are available in 4, 8, 12 and 25 zones. The 25 zone unit (Model DG-25III) can be cascaded up to 250 zones. As a system with remote microphones or speaker/microphones, they provide either one-way or bi-directional communications between the base units and the remote zones. Models DG-12II/DG-25III require companion unit DG-MA for bi-directional audio or DG-Monitor for one-way listen. In addition, Model DG-12II/DG-25III provide a variable time delay for each zone (from 0 and 3.2 seconds) for reducing false alarms.

The DG-12II is a twelve zone alarming base stations designed to provide sound activated audio monitoring. As a system, it is interfaced with Louroe microphones or speaker/microphones mounted in remote locations. Each zone has a variable threshold level based on frequency and sound pressure, and a variable alarm delay (from 0.1 to 3.2 seconds) that can be set by the installer or owner. When a sound or disturbance exceeds the pre-set threshold level and time duration, the unit goes into alarm. A lighted LED and three second tone identify the zone, along with a relay contact for activating a camera or other annunciation. Requires companion DG-MA for two-way listen/talkback or DG-Monitor for one-way listen.
