OnQ Technologies, Inc., has upgraded its 1x6
Basic Telecom Modules and introduced a 6-Port
Telecom Expansion Module. To meet installer needs,
the new compact module supports up to 6 telephone
outlets, each with up to 4 incoming telephone
lines. At the same time, the 6-port Expansion
Module supports growing needs of homeowners. The
modules easily snap into the modular OnQ system
enclosure to provide distribution of
telecommunication service throughout the home.
To make installation and troubleshooting easy,
the 1x6 Telecom module features a dual-function
integrated test/bridge jack and line isolation
DIP switch to allow each cable pair to be isolated
and tested separately. In addition, the module also
includes an integrated security port for interface
to most security systems.
These modules make it easy for installers to
provide quick, hassle-free installations and easily
troubleshoot potential problems, which is beneficial
to installers and homeowners alike.
The 6-Port Telecom Expansion Module allows economical
expansion to support up to 6 additional phone outlets,
each with up to four lines. Additional expansion modules
can be added effortlessly to support as many phone
outlets as needed. Optional surge suppression
capabilities are also available to protect the
homeowner's equipment from potentially catastrophic
voltage surges on the telephone network.

Supports up to 11 telephone outlets, each with up to 4 lines. Also supports a high-speed Category 5E connection to one data outlet for broadband data services such as ISDN and DSL. 6”H x 6.5”W.

A module that can support up to 11 phone outlets for basic service, which can be upgraded for KSU/PBX service with the KSU Interface Kit (363490-01). Also supports a high-speed Category 5E connection to one data outlet for wideband data services such as ISDN and DSL. 6”H x 6.5”W.

A plug-in module that protects all four incoming telephone pairs. Can be used on any OnQ Telecom Modules with service input.

A set of two cables that plug into the Panasonic KX-TA624 KSU. A 25 pair connector with eleven RJ25 connectors terminates the KX-TA624 to the 1x11 KSU/PBX Telecom Module, providing station-side connections (6 lines/24 stations). Line-side connections are provided via a RJ45 to (4) RJ25 hydra cable. Cables are seven feet long.
363473-01 Replacement KSU Commoning Plug
Distributes either lines 1 & 2 or lines 3 & 4 to the eleven extensions of the 1x11 KSU/PBX Telecom module when a PBX is not being used.
