The 1045T Series features a wider make distance, which permits faster installation, accommodates greater misalignment and works better on steel without time-consuming brackets. A wider break distance helps prevent false alarms caused by loose fitting doors. Sentrol-specified contacts keep the 1045T Series from sticking or freezing on seldomused doors. External test points simplify testing. Recessed terminals protect the contact from tampering or accidental electrical shorting.

The 1045T Series measures 3.9" (9.91 cm) L x 0.6" (1.52 cm) H x 0.7" (1.78 cm) D, with mounting holes on 3.5" (8.89 cm) centers. The contact housing is made of flame-retardant ABS plastic. External test points are accessed through the top of the housing.
