DoorKing Systems 1816 Multi-Line Telephone Intercom System
The Model 1816 Telephone Intercom System is a unique communication and access control device that provides two-way voice communication and control of a main entry door through the resident's own telephone without the need of a dedicated Central Office (C.O.) phone line. This capability eliminates the need for costly hard-wired intercom systems, monthly line charges and equipment lease payments. The 1816 also provides communication and control of the door even if the resident does not have central office phone service. The 1816 is ideal for colleges wishing to control access into student Resident Halls, apartment buildings and office buildings.
The model 1802 is an ideal telephone entry system that is loaded with features and is suited for applications that have limited space and can be used in residential as well as commercial applications, applications that do not require a directory, or in applications where a separate directory exist. The 1812 is available in both surface and flush mount designs and includes the DKS auto-programming software for Windows, allowing homeowners to program the system right from their home computer.

DKS mounting posts are available in two distinct styles; architectural and standard. The architectural posts are typically used with the larger telephone entry systems while the standard posts are used with card readers, keypads and smaller access control devices. A dual-height style is also available for applications that have both vehicular and truck traffic using the system. This style mounting post provides two different heights to attach the access control device to. All mounting posts are finished in a baked-on enamel finish.
